According to kickoff, Leeds United are taking a closer look at Guingamp defender Pedro Rebocho.

Now, being honest, I’ve not heard too much about this guy but, suddenly, where groans would occur under TC or Hecky, a sense of intrigue and optimism replaces it under Bielsa.

Indeed, an unknown player has become a good thing in some ways again due to the Argentine’s reputation – though Victor Orta still has work to do.

Even so, we do need extra options at full-back at the moment and it would seem that Rebocho is one man being considered with him possessing top-flight experience over in France.

The Verdict

With Lewie Coyle out on loan and the left-back area also short, we do need more options down both sides of the pitch from that area.

Certainly, we’ll need extra if Bielsa goes on to use his 3-3-3-1 system and so let’s see if they decide Rebocho is the man.
