Leeds Duo Can’t Be Split After Derby Success – MotM Shared

|

Leeds United took a small advantage over Derby County in the Championship Play-Off Semi-Final on Saturday, as Kemar Roofe’s second half strike was enough to give us a 1-0 win at Pride Park.

With Pontus Jansson not making the tie, Leeds grew into the game and we better dominated in our usual fashion under manager Marcelo Bielsa, but we made one of our three chances on target count, whereas the hosts failed to test Kiko Casilla once.

Statistics website Whoscored had some positive player ratings from the day but Luke Ayling and Liam Cooper couldn’t be split when it came to their individual performances as they both polled 7.95 on the day.

Completing the top five best performers on the day were Gaetano Berardi (7.64), Jack Harrison (7.48) and Kalvin Phillips (7.20).

Stuart Dallas, Pablo Hernandez and goalscorer Roofe also received seven-plus scores for their efforts.

Onto next Wednesday to complete the job and book our place in the Wembley Final.
