San Marino today must feel somewhat more bullish today than they did yesterday, with the news that Leeds midfielder Jonathan Douglas has pulled out of the Republic of Ireland squad with a hamstring injury.

Another injury for the Leeds’ squad and it doesn’t help that the middle-man’s partner against Norwich City, captain Kevin Nicholls has barely trained since returning from his injury.

It is believed that the club are not accepting open applications for players just yet. Vital Leeds advises that you do not turn up to the game carrying your football boots :-).

Did you know : San Marino is officially the smallest country taking part in the Euro 2008 qualification process. It has an (estimated) population in 2005 of 29,000. This means it’s officially less populated than Greenland.

Useless facts, but its slow-Tuesday day here.
