Reports in the Daily Mail are suggesting that Leeds United are trying to get out of the deal that will see Cameron Stewart join the club on a permanent deal this summer.
Stewart joined Leeds from Hull City on loan in January with a permanent three-year deal to be completed in the summer but after a less than impressive spell at Elland Road, the Mail online claim that Leeds owner Massimo Cellino has instructed officials at the club to see if they can pull the plug on the deal.
The 23-year-old made just 11 appearances during his three-month stay whilst on loan from Hull and he was either an unused substitute or left out of the squad on nine occasions.
Stewart is due to complete his deal on July 1st whilst the club have yet to add to the squad since the season finished in May.
