Leeds United are still looking for their first win in 2018 after conceding deep into injury time to be denied at Derby County.

Leeds twice led at the Ipro Stadium but they were denied all three points after conceding in injury time at the end of each half.

Goals from Pierre-Michel Lasogga and Ezgjan Alioski both put Leeds ahead but goals from Andreas Weimann and Kasey Palmer earned Derby a point in a 2-2 draw.

Lasogga gave Leeds the lead on 34 minutes against the run of play. Stuart Dallas found the German striker unmarked in the area and he headed past Scott Carson.

It looked like Leeds were going to go in ahead at the break but with the last attack of the half, Weimann fired past Felix Wiedwald after a poor attempted clearance by defender Liam Cooper.

Derby were again the aggressors in the second half but Leeds went ahead for a second time with another quick counter attack.

Samu Saiz, who returned from the bench following his six-match ban, freed fellow substitute Alioski and the Macedonian international headed home at the second attempt after Carson had denied his initial shot.

Leeds looked to be hanging on for a first win under new head coach Paul Heckingbottom but more slack defending allowed Kasey Palmer to poke the ball home from close range.
