Leeds United wish to keep on loan defender Lubomir Michalik for an extended period.

Michalik, who scored the winner in the 2-1 victory against Plymouth has been at Leeds since March 2007 signing on loan from Bolton Wanderers for a month, with the option to extend.

Leeds assistant boss Gus Poyet said:

He is staying. He is going nowhere.

‘We will wait until the end of the loan to see if he is fit but if he keeps playing like he did at Plymouth then there is no way he is going back.’

Do you think he should stay? Have your say on the forums now. Instructions below!
