Leeds United’s youngster Tyler Denton made his debut for Peterborough United in their EFL Cup clash against Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday evening.

Having made a loan switch out to London Road earlier this summer, the 22-year-old defender was making his senior bow for them in the game as he looks to continue his development after a handful of matches for us in Cup competitions, and a loan spell out in the first half of the 2017/18 campaign with Port Vale.

It wasn’t a great showing from the youngster but they fell to a 2-0 defeat to struggling QPR and their performance overall in the opening 45 minutes of the game left a lot to be desired, so how much stick he took simply because he was a new face in a poor performance remains to be seen.

Either way, he’ll be hoping for better in his next showing to begin winning their fans over.

Interesting that a few thought he was deployed wrong and left unsupported, but over to him to do better and get his loan spell really up and rocking if he can.
