Earlier this morning, Leeds United confirmed the expected arrival of Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla.
The experienced 32-year-old has long featured on the rumour mill this month and he heads into Elland Road on a four and a half year contract seeing him through until 2023.

Having come through Real’s youth ranks, he made the switch to Espanyol in 2007. Having been capped by Spain, he returned home in the summer of 2015 and over the past three years, he’s made 43 appearances for the Spanish giants.
With European experience on top, he’s a massive capture for Leeds given where we sit in the Championship table and he’ll certainly be a boost to our Premier League promotion hopes.
A short statement from the Official Site read.
“The addition will add competition amongst the goalkeeping ranks and he will now fight with Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Will Huffer for a starting berth at Elland Road.”
