According to Leeds Live, Abel Hernandez could be on the verge of joining our club with Andrea Radrizzani holding productive talks over a move.
The striker has been linked with us for a while and it now looks as though we’re close to bringing him in after he and Hull City confirmed that he was leaving the KCOM Stadium earlier this week.
A player with real power and pace, he’s certainly more than good enough to lead the line for our club.
Indeed, when you look at last season’s options he’s streets ahead of them in quality and so, hopefully, we can get a deal for the 27-year-old over the line.
The Verdict
This would be a real feather in the cap of Andrea Radrizzani if he could pull it off.
We’re all eager to see big names join our club this summer and it may be the case we’re close to seeing the first arrive.
