According to Fabrizio Romano, Leeds United will fight with Manchester United and Newcastle in a bid to sign Rangers’ 18-year-old defender, Leon King.

At such a young age, it is rare to have experience at the very top, but King has already made 18 first-team appearances for the Scottish champions, including 4 in the UEFA Champions League, showing that he could potentially make an immediate impact in Jesse Marsch’s defence – despite only becoming an adult early this year.
His ceiling is undoubtedly high, and while Manchester United and Newcastle’s big bucks could prove the deciding factor in this saga, this would be a fantastic signing for a defence in need of a shake-up.
