Leeds backed for Premier League return if they pull arrival off

As quoted by Spanish outlet AS, Mexico manager Juan Carlos Osorio has said that Marcelo Bielsa could be the man to take us back to the Premier League at long last.

It’s been a tough 15 years supporting the Whites with financial woes and a stint in League One perhaps the most trying moments of all.

However, we’ve stuck by the club through it all and if we sign Bielsa we might just be able to start dreaming about getting back to where we belong.

Indeed, as quoted by the outlet Osorio, who knows Bielsa, has said that he could be the man to get us into the top flight once more.

He said:

“I think he’s a top manager and he would do well. In my visit three weeks ago, I spoke to him and he mentioned it to me, and I’m very pleased.

“I think that [the] league, the Premier League and the English league, will be his ultimate goal and hopefully he’ll get there. I think he will do very well.”

The Verdict

I have no reason to disagree with Osorio, to be honest.

Plenty of names in the game have praised Bielsa for the work he’s done previously and if he can do similar for Leeds he’ll go down as a legend in my book.

Let’s see if we pull it off.
