Leeds United wish to make clear that the future of Elland Road is safe, despite the fact that the stadium as been sold for a second time.

Jacob Adler, who purchased the ground whilst we were having a slight cash flow issue decided it was time to sell it on, and it has been purchased by Teak Trading Corporation who come from the British Virgin Islands!

CEO Shaun Harvey said: ‘The change in ownership has had no material effect on us.

‘It makes no difference that the company who now own Elland Road is based in the British Virgin Islands.’

The rights to buy back the stadium have been transferred to the new company, so there is nothing to worry about.

However I think it is only fair to point out that the capital city of the British Virgin Islands, bizarrely called ‘Road Town’ the weather is currently a delightful 29 degrees and sunny. Does anyone else fancy moving the club out there?
