Leeds and Swindon reach agreement

Leeds United have released a statement regarding the possible appointment of Dennis Wise.

The statement read ‘Leeds United have agreed financial compensation with Swindon Town and have now been granted permission to discuss personal terms with both Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet with a view to them filling the vacant managerial position at the club.’

Swindon had earlier prevented Leeds from talking to their management team after the two parties had failed to reach an agreement.
