According to the Bristol Post, both Leeds and Middlesbrough are interested in signing Joe Bryan this summer from fellow Championship side Bristol City.

The Robins have lost the likes of Bobby Reid and Aden Flint so far this window – the latter to Boro – and now it looks as though Bryan could follow suit – though no bids have been made.

A player with great energy and pace out wide as well as a dynamite left-foot, he’d certainly be the sort of person to complement Bielsa’s preference of using wing-backs.

Like Middlesbrough, too, we can offer a chance at promotion this season so let’s see if we can bring him in.

The Verdict

I’d be keen on this happening.

I’d like Tom Pearce to obviously progress but Bryan is one of the better players in the league in his position.

He’ll throw himself into tackles and bomb forwards – there’s plenty to like about this potential deal.

Thoughts, Leeds fans? Let us know below!
