Leeds star Luke Ayling has warned Millwall that the Whites are more than ready for the battle this time around at the Den.

The international break is over and now focus is turning back towards the Sky Bet Championship.

Indeed, it looks set to be a cracking game down at the Den as we face a side that we have struggled against in recent years.

We look better equipped to deal with their approach now, though, and Ayling’s words certainly seem to reflect that mood.

Via the Yorkshire Evening Post, he said:

“It’s pretty much the same team this year, not many changes from the team who went down there last year, but people can see we’re a different team to last year. I think we can stand up to this kind of threat and this kind of style of play.”

Certainly, we look better suited to play against a physical side now, like Millwall.

Last year at the Den we were bullied and things fell apart quickly after that but now our players look well up for the fight.

It should be a physical and hard-fought affair, then, but it’s one that I can see us winning and in style.
