Ezgjan Alioski is a player that really divides opinion at the moment and it’s safe to say he’s got some to convince.
He’s obviously got talent but it seems clear that he needs to add more to his game this year.
Indeed, he has been inconsistent at times this season and has struggled for confidence, leading some to call for him to come out of the side.
I still see him playing this weekend against Brentford, though, and it seems apparent that the Macedonian national team still wants him around.
Indeed, they have called up for the next set of internationals:

Of course, I can’t imagine that there are many players from Macedonia that are actually better than Alioski and so it is perhaps a no-brainer he is being called up.
He’s a good player on his day and hopefully, this boost will see him return with a renewed sense of determination.
