Norwich City and Leeds United continue to set the pace at the top of League One after this weekends games.
The Canaries had to come from behind to beat Hartlepool United 2-1, it`s the second time in the week that they have come from behind to claim all three points and stay top.
Neil Austin gave the visitors a surprise lead just short of the half hour mark but the home side were leading by half time thanks to goals from Cody MacDonald and Michael Rose.
Leeds recorded their first league win in four games with a 2-0 home in over fellow promotion hopefuls Colchester United.
Jermaine Beckford score one in each half to keep Leeds three points behind the leaders with two games in hand.
Third placed Charlton dropped more points at home against another side struggling near the foot of the table. After being beaten at home in midweek by Leyton Orient 1-0 they had to come from behind to claim a point in a 1-1 draw with Tranmere.
Former Leeds defender Sam Sodje, who was playing his first game after serving a four-match suspension, put through his own net to give Tranmere the lead. Nicky Bailey equalised for the home side soon afterwards.
Swindon, who had beaten Leeds 3-0 in midweek, looked like continuing their fine form at Southend when they raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Charlie Austin and Billy Paynter. Two second half goals from Scott Spencer and Pat Baldwin earned the Shrimpers a share of the spoils.
Millwall stay in sixth place with a 1-0 win at Brighton and Hove Albion, Steve Morrison scoring his eleventh goal of the season for the Lions.
Huddersfield remain just outside the play offs after a 1-0 win at Yeovil thanks to a Nathan Ecclestone goal.
MK Dons had to settle for a point in a 1-1 draw at home against Exeter City. Sam Baldock had given the hosts a second half lead before a late leveller from Barry Corr earned the Devon club a point.
Southampton continue their fight to reach the play offs after their ten point deduction at the start of the season. The Saints beat bottom club Stockport County 2-0 at home thanks to goals from Ricky Lambert and Papa Waigon.
Stockport are now twelve points from safety and looked destined for League Two football next season having picked up just two points from their last fifteen games.
Wycombe Wanderers continue to fight at the bottom of the table after recording a 3-2 win at Bristol Rovers. Matt Harrold, Alex Revell and Stuart Beavon scoring the goals for Wycombe, who remain second bottom.
Tranmere stayed third bottom despite their excellent point at Charlton and Oldham make up the bottom four after their home game with Brentford was called off due to a frozen pitch.
Next weekend looks very interesting with four of the top six playing each other, Millwall host Norwich whilst Charlton travel to Swindon.
