Yosuke Ideguchi, Mateusz Klich and Laurens De Bock are all training with the U23 side at the moment as Marcelo Bielsa works out who he wants and who he doesn’t.

One of the most significant stories to come out of his stint so far is that he wants to streamline the squad and you get the feeling there’s a lot of players at the club not in his plans.

The trio, though, are not completely out of action as it stands.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, though they have been demoted they do still have a chance to impress and get into his plans.

Certainly, you’d think Ideguchi in particular deserves a bit more of a chance!

The Verdict

The Whites’ manager is a ruthless guy and I’d not be shocked if we saw all three of these players leave the club this summer.

Good luck to them, though, in trying to prove a point to the Argentine.
