Having had success under Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United in more recent years have turned into the gift that keeps on giving and the latest instalment of ‘Entitlement At Old Trafford’ brought out a devilish side from a number of Leeds United fans.
With typical press links managing to get gaffer Marcelo Bielsa and United into the same headlines pretty quickly after Jose Mourinho was given his marching orders yesterday, they are obviously now on the search for a replacement.
Whether or not this is a moment of genius from Sky Bet, or genius from a number of Leeds fans I don’t know – but whatever happened it resulted in this Tweet being sent out on social media.
✍️ Dear #LUFC fans who have been in touch,
❌ We appreciate all contacts, we will however have to politely decline your requests for odds on Dave Hockaday to replace Jose Mourinho as #MUFC manager.

David Hockaday’s ill-fated 70 odd days in charge back in 2014 will probably send shudders down the spines of many fans, but the suggestions for United’s new gaffer didn’t end at his name – some got even more creative.
Christmas ruined. #HockadayIn
