Matt Kilgallon appeears to be staying at Leeds after chairman Ken Bates rejected another bid for the highly-rated defender.

Bates told Yorkshire Radio: ‘We actually turned down an offer for more than £1m from Reading for him so he’s going nowhere,

‘If he continues to develop, I see him as a natural successor to John Terry.’
