Deadline Day is now firmly on the horizon with the window shutting tomorrow evening for permanent deals.
It’s been a strange window for the Whites with it very much a slow burner to start with only a couple of players coming in.
Towards the end of the window, though, things have picked up with the likes of Barry Douglas and Jack Harrison arriving.
It appears, though, that there may not be any more permanent deals this summer with Angus Kinnear revealing as such via Adam Pope on Twitter:
Interesting to hear from #lufc MD Angus Kinnear tonight that the club are more likely to strengthen via a loan or possibly before the end of the month rather than a permanent deal.

Our focus might now have changed to the loan market, then, and that is not such a bad thing when you consider some of the deals that are available.
Indeed, you can usually pick up some good players in the loan market and with Marcelo Bielsa’s connections in the game we might find that this is where our summer recruitment really picks up.
