Leeds United striker Tresor Kandol has made it to the top of the tree as he is named Football League One fans player of the month for September.

The somersaulting striker has led an assault on League One this season, firing his way to 2nd in the goal scoring charts, only surpassed by team-mate and strike partner Jermaine Beckford (who has one goal more.)

Ironically the award has been announced on the day that Kandol will sit out Leeds’ trip to Oldham Athletic due to a pathetic suspension dished out by the expert referee Mr McDermit, but I do feel we’ve gone into that a fair few times too many already!

Congratulations Tresor!
