Leeds United have built a superb platform to build upon heading into the busy festive period after accumulating three consecutive victories in the league during recent weeks.
Saturday’s 1-0 triumph over fellow promotion candidates Sheffield United has led to an increase in confidence around Elland Road, with fans looking ahead to what they hope will be a successful season that provides a return to the Premier League.
One issue that the Peacocks have faced this season has been with injuries but a significant boost could be right around the corner, as Patrick Bamford featured for the U23 side against Newcastle United on Friday.
Bamford, who signed from Middlesbrough in the summer, played 45 minutes off the bench to make his return to action after suffering a cruciate ligament injury back in September and took to social media after the game.
Fans jumped at the opportunity to provide encouragement to the former Chelsea man and many believe he can be a crucial asset during the second half of the season. We have gathered some of their reactions below.
