Leeds United midfielder Bradley Johnson is concentrating on trying to help Leeds back into the Premier League rather than his own long term future.

Johnson is out of contract at Elland Road in the summer and he was placed on the transfer list in November after failing to agree new terms.

Premier League sides Newcastle, Bolton and Stoke City are tracking the 23 year old, but he is concentrating on helping Leeds back into the top flight after seven years in the Championship and League One.

Speaking on SkySports.com, Johnson said, ‘At Leeds we’ve got a good set of lads, good manager and outstanding fan base.
‘Hopefully we can build on where we are and get back into the Premier League, where the team belongs.
‘Right now I’m just focusing on playing rather than my future and we’ll see what happens.’

Johnson missed his first game of the season at Swansea City on Saturday where the side were beaten 3-0, only their second defeat in their last twenty-one games.

The midfielder will hope to go straight back into the side for Saturday`s game with Doncaster Rovers at Elland Road.
