Leeds United confirmed earlier today that Japanese midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi had now completed a loan move away from the club to SpVgg Greuther Furth.

The 21-year-old heads to the Bundesliga 2 side for the remainder of the 2018/19 campaign and he is of course yet to make his competitive Leeds debut following his arrival in January 2017 from J-League side Gamba Osaka.
Having been immediately loaned out to Cultural Leonesa, that didn’t really go to plan as he only made one starting appearance, with four showings from the bench it seems from a quick search, so he’ll certainly be hoping this loan spell works out better for him on a game-time front.
Especially if he still has hopes of getting his career up and running with us further down the line, but the loan deal does apparently include a buy clause according to some in the press, so it appears manager Marcelo Bielsa has already made his decision on that front as he’d intimated previously.
In the words of Troy McClure "goodbye Yosuke, we hardly knew ye"

I think this is a great move for him and I think thereās definitely a future for him at #lufc

Surely league 1 or 2 would of been better for him

Had to Google this cause thought you were taking the piss, thought he was like 28

Wish him luck but would have preferred a loan move to an English speaking league as language seems a big barrier. Heās now got to learn German too!

good move for him. Plenty of Japanese players that have done well in Germany

Canāt help but feel this is the kind of move he should have made last season. Asian players have unrivalled success in Germany in comparison to other European leagues. If heās to be a success for us he needs to prove it in Germany @HOLmES11 @BenMacca1981 @ls_paley

If he does well, surely they will enact the buy clause in my mind, so I’d be surprised if we actually see him return unless the spell doesn’t go well. That would nobody.
