The draw with Brentford was certainly a tempestuous affair and there surely should have been more red cards than there was during the game.

Certainly, how they ended the game with eleven men is beyond me and it certainly seems fair to assume that there will be retrospective action from the FA.

One man that was sent off, though, was Luke Ayling and he will miss the next game after the international break which is against Blackburn.

It makes you wonder whether it might be for the best too after a string of games where he has struggled and whoever comes in to replace him will have a chance to stake a claim.

Gaetano Berardi seems the most obvious option after starting the season in good form before injury and so perhaps Bielsa will call on him.
