Leeds Word On The Tweet

‘Inherent bias’, ‘no point’: These Leeds fans have rather mixed reactions to owner’s comments

|

Talk about a game-changing moment.

The game finished 2-1 to Millwall, but there’s really one talking point coming out of the game.

Gaetano Berardi conceded a penalty and was sent off less than 15 minutes into the match when he was alleged to have pulled down Tom Bradshaw, a decision that did not go down well with the Leeds fan base, or indeed the board.

Tweeting after the game, owner Andrea Radrizanni had his say on the matter, saying that:

“It’s frustrating to see how many points we miss because of wrong decisions against us. We will fight hard and come back stronger …we can’t just wait for VAR to reach our goal.”

Now, for some reason, Leeds fans found themselves split into two camps when it came to the owner’s comments. There were those who agreed with him that refereeing standards in this division are terrible and that something needs to be done.

Whilst there were some who were in the camp of ‘if we had better players, we wouldn’t be held back by the officials’, and used the opportunity to lambast the owner for his supposed neglect in building the team.
