Talk about a game-changing moment.
The game finished 2-1 to Millwall, but there’s really one talking point coming out of the game.
Gaetano Berardi conceded a penalty and was sent off less than 15 minutes into the match when he was alleged to have pulled down Tom Bradshaw, a decision that did not go down well with the Leeds fan base, or indeed the board.
Tweeting after the game, owner Andrea Radrizanni had his say on the matter, saying that:
“It’s frustrating to see how many points we miss because of wrong decisions against us. We will fight hard and come back stronger …we can’t just wait for VAR to reach our goal.”
Now, for some reason, Leeds fans found themselves split into two camps when it came to the owner’s comments. There were those who agreed with him that refereeing standards in this division are terrible and that something needs to be done.
It’s more than wrong decisions.. it’s inherent bias
This guy has reffed us 4 times, sent off 4 of our players and we’ve got a solitary point
But it’s nearly every ref we come across ????????♂️

Its beyond pathetic now. The club and fans deserve reasons behind such crucial decisions. We spend hundreds of pounds every weekend for a result more often than not come down to an officials decision and the refs can run back home and officiate again next weekend no probs

Knowing our luck VAR won’t work for us!!!!
The standard of reffing in this league is laughable

Every week we have to put up with these refs it's just cheating plain and simple

Whilst there were some who were in the camp of ‘if we had better players, we wouldn’t be held back by the officials’, and used the opportunity to lambast the owner for his supposed neglect in building the team.
Please invest in January. No point blaming refs we struggle to score every week

Don't blame everyone else. We are not good enough, but maybe you guys a planning a video called "we bottled it part 2" loosing faith @andrearadri It's almost time for you to sell the lot..

You know what’s even more frustrating? Having to play your 3rd choice right back at centre back.
