Leeds United have been brilliant this season and are on course to win promotion to the Premier League with just nine games left to play.
However, even if they do go up, one potential issue that Marcelo Bielsa may want to address in the summer is finding a clinical goalscorer. Whilst he does offer a lot to the team with his all-round game, Patrick Bamford’s return of 13 goals in 36 games isn’t that impressive.
Will Leeds United be playing in the Premier League next season?
Yes
No
In the previous season, the Whites had Kemar Roofe as their main man up top and he hit 15 goals in 33 Championship fixtures, which is slightly better. The forward then left for Anderlecht but he has spoken about how he enjoyed his time at Elland Road and working under Marcelo Bielsa.

Therefore, a question was asked to the Leeds fans on Twitter whether they would take Roofe back in the future and it’s fair to say it prompted a mixed response from the support. Here we look at some of the comments…

Not if we are in prem. Only played about 65% of his last season with us. Fantastic movement, but not consistent enough.

Genuinely, no. Once again he’s spent most this season injured
