The Whites were back to their best last night as we put Preston away with a very comfortable performance indeed.
Really, the game should have been dead and buried by halftime but thanks to our lack of finishing in that 45 they still had a chance.
Tyler Roberts soon found his shooting boots, though, and scored a brace to help seal a 3-0 win against the Lilywhites.
With that in mind, then, it’s safe to say many enjoyed our performance and that includes defender Benjamin Mendy.
Indeed, he tweeted about the Argentine and even joked that he’d be ready to play for us if needed.

Certainly, it won’t be happening this season but in the coming years you never know thanks to Bielsa.
With Barry Douglas in charge, though, he might find it harder than he’d expect to start playing for us.
