With Leeds United bouncing back from Swansea City disappointment ahead of the September international break as we made the trip to Barnsley last Sunday, goals on the day from Eddie Nketiah and Mats Klich (penalty) gave fans plenty of reason for celebration at the full time whistle, especially as the match looked like it would be one of those who frustrating ended in a scoreless draw for so long.
A further reason for celebration was the fact that we also bounced back to the top of the Championship table, albeit at this stage, on goal difference alone.
With on loan Arsenal starlet Nketiah coming in for plenty of praise following his impact as a second half substitute, former Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Helder Costa also received significant praise from many in the Elland Road fanbase.
So much so in fact, a number of fans are hoping to see him replace Jack Harrison in the starting XI next Saturday when we welcome loveable Derby County to home soil.
Costa has to start, so much better than Harrison. Harrison works hard & grated but his decision making / creativity is very poor. Needs a rest. Let costa have a crack now.

Exactly, starting Costa might bring out the best in Bamford ????????♂️

Surely Eddie & Costa mist against Derby, next week #lufc

I'm no Marcelo Bielsa but I'd definitely start Costa against Derby #LUFC

The one definite change has to be Costa ahead of Jack. Jack off boil today with crossing but hugs touchline well. Costa seems to wander and find spaces inside better & has better quality on the ball. #lufc

Costa and Eddie made the difference today — start them…..but we wouldn’t have the impact players on the bench to come on and potentially win us the games late on. Tricky decision for god to make. #lufc

I'll take that. 🙂 Surely we have to start with Nketiah now? Costa and Nketiah look like the answer to the questions we keep asking. #lufc

That won't do Bamford's confidence any good. He was in Halme's pocket for most of that game and then his replacement gets a goal and wins a pentaly. Bielsa needs to be bold now and start Costa and Nketiah. #lufc
