Mats Klich has hit the ground running for Leeds United this season as under the charge of manager Marcelo Bielsa the 28-year-old has already made eight appearances for us so far this season across all competitions and he’s chipped in with an impressive three goals and one assist as we top the Championship table on goal difference.

With his form for us across the month of August seeing him make an international return to his national side Poland for the first time in four years, Leeds fans were rightly delighted for him knowing that with such a boost it could only be a benefit for us this year.

With games against Italy and the Republic of Ireland set for the September window, he started the Italy game before being replaced in the second half in their 1-1 draw, but he went one better against Eire on Tuesday evening and scored their equaliser in another 1-1 draw having come on as a second-half substitute himself.

Another against Millwall this weekend would certainly be welcomed.
