We’re looking good at the moment and we’re all eager to see the international break come to an end as soon as possible.

The Whites head to Blackburn next weekend and, hopefully, none of our players on international duty will come back injured.

One man skipping it for the birth of his new baby, though, is Pontus Jansson and so he should be raring to go against Rovers come kick-off.

He’s been excellent since coming back into the side last month and, clearly, he’s leading by example in defence.

Indeed, as Stat Zone on Twitter shows, Pontus is averaging the second most interceptions a game in the league so far this year:

Pedersen from Birmingham is flying at the top by the look of it but our defender is still more than doing well in this regard.

He looks a man possessed this season and coming back from the break he’ll hopefully keep that up.
