We’re almost there now, Whites, just one more week of rubbish before we can try and erase this season from our minds.
Whether we’re actually able to do that or not, of course, remains to be seen but we can at least try and hopefully the summer will help us do that with some good signings – though I won’t hold my breath.
Whilst we wait to see what happens, though, we’ll have to put up with Heckingbottom’s post-match comments which are becoming relatively repetitive, to say the least.
Let’s see what he said, then, and what our fans said in response:

Unless it’s to announce his resignation nobody cares anymore! 😴

No discernable playing style, unable to influence games tactically, awful results, players seemingly unable to follow instructions, poor player selection, terrible substitutions, fans disillusioned…we will go down next season with this guy in change.

Get him out of our club

The Verdict
I do want Hecky to succeed and I think he’ll get the summer to show he can assemble a good side but boy does he need to find some spark in these conferences.
Of course, it’s hard to keep showing fire with results the way they are but what does it say to the players. We need a rocket to be handed to a lot of people in the off-season.
