Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa met with the media yesterday to discuss the weekend’s clash with West Bromwich Albion and with the January transfer window nearing, the Argentine obviously faced a question or two about his plans to spend owner Andrea Radrizzani’s money.
To the disappointment of a number of fans given their hopes for a busy window, Bielsa’s answer implied that it would be quiet and we shouldn’t expect many in’s or out’s across the month.
Marcelo Bielsa is happy with his squad it seems. #lufc https://t.co/n8qknku06R

“It will be very hard to add new players. But we will have four more players coming in January, Bamford, Brown, Berardi and Ayling. It’s only my opinion. The club can have a different opinion and I will take that into account.”
Bielsa is right to point out the current injury issues come to an end in the New Year so that will boost his options, and of course, our youngsters will have another couple of months of development under their belts as well. But all fans will have their own areas of the pitch where they’d be desperate to see improvement so our form gets the best possible chance of continuing.
Tricky one this. We think we need a winger, forward and a centre half.
Our opinions are important but Marcelo knows what's needed, it's his life, for now. In his experience we trust #MOT #LUFC— Mark Kilner (@markkilner1973) November 8, 2018
As expected zero activity in January same division next season

Ask Fulham if it’s ever wise to sign a player in January ffs

When you have to start Dallas, you need additions. The squad is wafer thin at the back and on the wings. We've already seen how injuries to Hernandez have effected us.

I'm sure they won't push him to spend money. We will end up regretting this.

Intelligent answer. Why would any manager say they weren't satisfied with their squad that was top of the league?

I know it's a cliche but Izzy Brown will be like a new signing and I feel Bielsa will only strengthen if he feels the needs additions. #lufc

The way Bielsa has us playing makes it very hard to sign players mid season. I'll be happy enough for him to promote the young kids that are around the first team and drilled in this style of play. Remember a lot of this team were here last season
