Leeds United have been flying so far this season under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa, establishing themselves amongst the leading candidates for promotion.
The Peacocks desperately want to seal a return to the Premier League, where they have been absent since relegation in 2004, and things are looking good at the moment as they sit second in the standings – occupying one of the Championship’s automatic promotion spots.
While there is still plenty of football left to be played, this weekend’s round of fixtures were extremely favourable to Leeds as promotion rivals West Brom dropped points against Brentford on Monday evening – which left Bielsa’s side with a four-point cushion.
That has increased the importance of the busy run of fixtures that lie ahead during the festive season but many fans believe this could be the start of a breakaway that sees Leeds storm to promotion, while others are praying for the season to end now.
We have gathered some of the reactions to the result below.
2 HUGE games coming up and without tak8ng anything for granted, both very winnable.

Essentially makes it a 25 game run in now instead of 26. That’s one get out of jail card in the pocket.
Huge weekend in the season for LUFC this last few days.— David Budden (@BigDaveBud) December 3, 2018

We need to fully take advantage of that now and take all 3 this weekend. Confidence and a positive performance hopefully!

Now is the time to drive on. Have to take 6 points from QPR & Bolton. Draw at Villa would be no disaster. A win & the turkey Christmas day will be all the sweeter (Not literally)
