Lucas Radebe was back where he belongs at the weekend as he came back to Elland Road to take in the boxing match at the stadium.
The Chief, as he is better known among our fans, was in fine form speaking to plenty and offering insight as well as continuing to demonstrate his pure passion for Leeds.
Truly, it was a welcome return for a man for whom you’ll be hard-pressed to find a detractor and it’s evident he enjoyed the evening.

This was always going to get a reaction from our fans, then, so let’s take a look at what has been said on social media in response:
The perfect ambassador for the club. If you want to boost the brand, how about using someone like him instead of taking Angus Kinnear to a war zone.

The Verdict
Truly, this guy is a modern legend of the club and the fact we don’t get him more involved than he is currently is a real pity.
He knows exactly what it means to play for Leeds United and what we, as fans, expect and having him drum that into a few of our current players would be no bad thing at all.
