Paul Heckingbottom has delivered his latest press conference today and there’s certain points which we might not be too happy about.
‘What a surprise’, I can hear you thinking, because we’ve hardly had much good news since he came in earlier this year.
This time around, it concerns Pablo Hernandez’s future at the club with him still out of contract at the end of the campaign and it’s really starting to drag on now:
Heckingbottom said all his conversations with Hernandez have been positive but admitted there was a risk of "other clubs turning his head". Thinks Hernandez could be a valuable asset again next season. #lufc

Let’s take a look at how some of our fans have received this news, then, and it’s safe to say not well is the answer…

'Turned his head' translates to offering him what he deserves

At the end of the day this should of been sorted long ago. Fail to prepare, prepare to fail!

Just like the mess last year with Monk. If we'd sorted this months ago people wouldn't have had a chance to turn his head. #lufc

The Verdict
Unfortunately, I myself can also see him going and then the club will only have themselves to blame.
We’ve let it drag on and on despite him being our best player this year and he’s bound to have had other offers made to him for next season.
He’s been a valuable player for us, so it’s only natural we let him go without a fee.
Thoughts, Whites? Let me know!
