Leeds United have work to do when domestic football returns this weekend, having suffered a hefty 4-1 defeat to West Brom prior to the international break.
That loss sent the Peacocks sliding down to third in the Championship standings, just four points ahead of tenth-placed QPR, and there has been other pieces of disappointing news during the past few weeks.
Marcelo Bielsa’s injury woes increased with the news that Chelsea loanee Jamal Blackman would be returning to West London prematurely after breaking his leg, which leaves Leeds with very few options between the posts.
With Bailey Peacock-Farrell starting to come under regular criticism, it is understood that Leeds will look to strengthen their goalkeeping depth in January and one name floating around is David Stockdale.
Now 33-years-old, the Leeds-born stopper could be the ideal recruit to compete with Peacock-Farrell but it is fair to say not everyone is convinced. We have gathered some of the reactions below.
Westwood and Stockdale not doing much wonder if we will go in for one in January, need experience to challenge #lufc

Concerning that people want us to sign Stockdale who is pretty much BPF’s dad.

I'd take Stockdale if he'd take a realistic offer I'd consider Heaton before Westwood for me Westwood had too much history with #LUFC & #LUFC fans
