Many Leeds United fans have been criticising Luton Town manager Nathan Jones following the 1-1 draw on Tuesday night.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side missed out on the opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the Championship against a side that have only won two from their last seven games, and who sit bottom of the league standings.
Harry Cornick gave the visitors a shock lead after the break against the run of play. Stuart Dallas levelled the affair but were unable to capitalise on their domination.
After the final whistle, Jones had an intense confrontation with Leeds’ Pablo Hernandez but it was unclear as to what it was in relation to at the time.
Once the dust had settled, the Hatters’ boss apologised to Hernandez following the exchange and admitted that he said something that he shouldn’t have in Spanish to the Whites’ midfielder.
With this in mind, supporters were not impressed with Jones’ antics and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he is a “very strange man”, while another described him as a “highly strung” individual.
What a strange, strange individual he is. Seems obsessed with Leeds and his behaviour every time he’s up against us is extremely odd

I hope they go down after that!

Well at least he apologised, but shouldn’t have said something to apologise for! Oops that might mean me too 💙💛

No interest in him or his tin pot outfit, but fair do’s for the apology, and fair do’s for navigating his Corsa round a track for 90 minutes and finishing level with an R8, takes some doing no matter how much it p*sses us off.
