Hello Premier League – Leeds Are Back

|

Leeds United fans know our fortunes turned with the appointment of Argentine genius Marcelo Bielsa and although we fell at the last hurdle last season, we had high hopes for a second year under his charge and despite everything thrown at us – and some seriously dark days – West Bromwich Albion’s defeat to Huddersfield Town this evening, gifts us a well earnt early automatic promotion prize.

With a few games still to play in the season of 2019/20, we have a five point gap and a game in hand on second placed Baggies, so we are firmly in pole position to now go one step further than just automatic promotion, and secure a return to the top flight as title holders.

It’s nothing more than the team deserve for their efforts across the last two seasons, and Bielsa has got his just rewards after all the Spygate nonsense and everything else we’ve had to contend with.

We’re back, let’s make sure we make the most of it – there are 16 years to make up here!
