Leeds are flying high under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa, sitting in the automatic promotion spots in the Championship and boasting a five-point cushion over third-place Sheffield United.
However, there is still certainly a lot of work to be done if the Peacocks are to bring an end to their long wait for Premier League football at Elland Road and the January transfer window is set to be crucial.
With the squad being ravaged by injuries, the depth of Bielsa’s side has been put to the test over the course of recent weeks and new additions will be eyed when the market reopens to help bolster Leeds’ push for promotion.
One fan on Twitter raised an interesting view as he suggested Leeds should look to bring Mallik Wilks back prematurely from his loan spell with Doncaster Rovers after he scored a brace in the recent 4-0 drubbing of Bristol Rovers.
With six goals and three assists in League One this season, Wilks has shown some exciting form and Bielsa will certainly have a decision to make in the coming weeks. We have gathered some of the comments from supporters below.
Think it will do him good to have a full year on loan

I wanted to see what he’s made of in Jan too but think he’s now signing an extension with us and staying in Donny. Think he Would have added something but if we go up this year he will likely not see first team at ER unless a loan to champ club and does very well IMO
