Ronaldo Vieira made his debut for Sampdoria over the weekend against Napoli in Serie A after the player left the club in the summer.

There was some disappointment about his exit – even from Marcelo Bielsa – but you could see why the move went through given the fee involved.

Anyway, he made his debut for Samp at the weekend and, despite leaving the club, it appears that he still has that Leeds edge in him that he became quickly renowned for:

Sure, he might have left the club but it’s clear he is still Leeds and I do hope he ends up having a good time out there.

He still has to try and curb that enthusiasm for challenges but I am sure he will do that quickly in a league that makes an example of players that are late to tackles thanks to playacting.

We’ll have to wait and see how he does next time out.
