Leeds United have been in superb form this season and have risen to the top of the Championship after a hard-fought victory over Bolton on Saturday.
The Peacocks boast an impressive record of five consecutive victories in the league over the course of recent weeks and have firmly established themselves amongst the favourites to earn promotion to the Premier League.
Further improvements are required though, as there is still plenty of football to be played, and interesting links have emerged that suggest Leeds are seeking to complete a deal for Deportivo Alaves’ attacking ace Ibai Gomez.
The 29-year-old has a reported release clause of £9m, which would represent a significant outlay for Leeds, but fans on social media believe the attacker, who has worked with Bielsa before during their time with Athletic Bilbao, would be a solid addition to the squad.
