Manchester City’s young winger Jack Harrison had a mixed time of things in his first year at Elland Road having joined Leeds United on a season long loan spell back in the campaign of 2018/19.
The 23-year-old talent featured for manager Marcelo Bielsa 37 times across the campaign, with an additional five showings from the bench and in those matches, he contributed four goals. It was a mixed year though as he adjusted and stepped up to the Championship and consistency and productivity was a big question for fans, but Bielsa saw enough and he returned for the 2019/20 campaign, and given recent improvements, he’s already matched last season’s goal tally and provided five assists.
With some speculation back over the summer that there was a buy clause inserted in the deal this time around, The Athletic’s Phil Hay has recently Tweeted that he thinks £10million as a bid would get a deal done, even though he’s contracted up until 2022.
contract to 2022. Option to buy at the end of this loan. I suspect you’d be in for £10m, something like that.

With plenty of fans feeling he’s improved significantly this year, for £10million, does it become a no brainer given how much more development he has to do?
