Leeds suffered their first defeat this pre-season after losing 2-1 at Hartlepool United.


James Brown scored on 14 and 55 minutes to give the home side a two-goal lead.


Steve Stone scored from a Mark Fotheringham cross after 60 minutes but it turned out to be no more than a consolation.


New signing David Livermore made his full debut, while former Newcastle man Robbie Elliot and Former Celtic youngster Mark Fotheringham both featured after joining on trial.
