Leeds United returned to winning ways against Bristol City on Saturday, securing a 2-0 victory at Elland Road.
The Peacocks had slipped down the Championship standings after a defeat at the hands of West Brom prior to the international break but the win gives Marcelo Bielsa’s side a platform to build upon over the course of the coming weeks.
It was not the most comfortable of matches for Leeds fans, who only saw their side take control after the visitors were reduced to ten men, but one positive was the fact that they kept a clean sheet – having picked up just one from the six matches prior to Saturday’s game.
The clean sheet was earned by 20-year-old stopper Will Huffer, who made his debut following the injuries sustained by Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Jamal Blackman – the latter returning to Chelsea after his loan stint came to a premature end.
Fans took to social media to discuss the performance from Huffer and we have gathered some of their reactions below.
Anyone having a go at Huffer for today needs their head checking. Kids just been thrown into his first senior game out of nowhere and handled himself well. Nice clean sheet hopefully can add to that in the next two games. #LUFC

Great to see Huffer make his debut, looked a little nervous at times but rightly so. Well done to Halme on his debut as well, played well and both got a clean sheet. Good day all round for the to young lads. #LUFC
