Leeds United manager Simon Grayson is looking at the possibility of sending out Adam Clayton and Mike Grella on loan.

Midfielder Clayton returned from a loan spell at Peterborough this week after making eight appearances for the League One side.

Speaking on the official website, Grayson said, “We might consider an emergency loan because it will get him some more football.”

Clayton only joined Leeds from Manchester City in the summer but as found first team football hard to come by, making just two substitute appearances for Leeds so far this season.

Striker Mike Grella has also enjoyed time away from Elland Road this season when he spent almost three months with Carlisle United, making eleven appearances and scoring three goals.

Grella agreed to join Scottish Premier League side Motherwell last week but the move was blocked under FIFA regulations not allowing him to play for a third club this season.

Grayson would like to see Grella enjoying more first team action and as admitted that the club have received enquiries about the striker, “One or two clubs have enquired about Mike.
“The Motherwell thing fell through because of the international ruling. He`s another we would consider letting out,” he continued.

The Leeds boss as already sent youngsters Aidy White and Will Hatfield out on loan during this transfer window.

White is back with Oldham Athletic for the remainder of the season, after he enjoyed a successful spell with the League One club before Christmas.

Hatfield is yet to experience first team football at Elland Road and as joined Blue Square Conference side York City on a month`s loan.
