Leeds United boss Simon Grayson was happy to see his side grind out a result at Oldham and book their place in the second round of the FA Cup.

Grayson`s side despite having a large amount of possession didn`t create a massive amount of goal scoring chances despite a change of formation that saw them line up with a 4-3-3.

Despite the system, Jermaine Beckford looked to be playing a loan striker role for long periods of the game and looked frustrated by the lack of support he was given.

However Grayson speaking on Minster FM said “Ultimately it`s about getting results and that`s what we`ve done. We like to put on a performance and we like to try and entertain but sometimes you have to grind results out”.

Leeds will now wait till tomorrow afternoon before finding out their opponents in the second round draw which will be drawn live on ITV1 at about 3.35pm.
