Despite once again giving the opposition a start in the game, Leeds boss Simon Grayson was delighted with the spirit and determination showed by his side to come from two goals down to claim a point at Hull City.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, “We showed a lot of spirit by getting back into the game after going 2-0 down. The free kick by Snodgrass right on half time gave us a big lift.
“Delighted with the determination and the spirit that we showed again tonight, you can`t fault the players for that, the work rate and the attitude to games and a desire not to get beat.”
In a fairly even first half hour, Hull scored twice in the space of seven minutes to leave Leeds on the back foot.
Robert Snodgrass scored direct from a free kick a minute before half time and Davide Somma equalised early in the second half to claim a point for Leeds.
Leeds have now lost just one of their last sixteen games but have drawn five of their last seven Championship games.
