Goodbye (Ish) From LUFC1

As some of you may or may not have noticed, I have stepped down from my role as Vital Leeds United editor.

All I can say is:

Dear All.

Since 2006 I have been the sole editor of Vital Leeds, taking it from a very small community to the thriving, dynamic and thoroughly enjoyable website that we have to date.

Sadly, work commitments, alongside a number of other personal factors and further commitments outside of my job, have meant that my time for Vital Leeds United has become so limited, my continuation as editor would have become a weight around the neck of the website, rather than something that could be worked through.

Thankfully for all of us, we have an editor who moved away from Leeds, to take over at Vital Donny, and has opted to return home to takeover the reigns here at Vital Leeds United. As it says on the frontpage, Dazza is now the sole editor of Vital Leeds United, to do with however he sees fit.

In my 2 years as Vital Leeds Ed, I have covered potentially the very worst moments of Leeds United history, and then the fight back which is still carrying on. I have seen relegation, punishment, -15, the recovery, the removal of Wise and now the beginning of the Gary McAllister rejuvenations. I have argued about bin bashing, window smashing, I have insulted half of the Football League, laughed, joked and loved every moment on Vital Leeds. Prizes dished out, fantasy leagues won and will be won again, members chatted to, babies born, it`s all been good and I wouldn`t wish for anything else over that time!

Whilst I have very little time to contribute now, I will still be around. Dazza is a fantastic member and a good editor and I am sure he will take the foundations I have built, and improve on them to turn Vital Leeds from a network giant, to network powerhouse. Feel free to stop by to say hello any time I am on the forum, granted it isn`t that often, but I will be keeping an eye on my baby, to make sure that Daz is looking after it right.

Forever marching on together with everyone at Vital Leeds
